As you may have expected, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Annual SSIB Meeting.

This decision was not an easy one. We look forward to this meeting every year, but in consideration of the health and safety of our members and the difficulty planning because of the many restrictions on our lives right now, we are confident that this is the right decision. Finding meeting locations is a difficult task, and the good news is that all the hard work of the Long-Range Planning Committee will not go to waste because we have already agreed to a newly scheduled Portland meeting, which now will be July 11-15, 2023. Likewise, the program committee already put an enormous amount of work into planning the 2020 meeting, so we now have an excellent jump start for the 2021 meeting in Chicago next July.
